That is what Mr Wiki said. In a simpler word, its a page telling the user that the current requested url is not exist. It might happen for example if the user click a link lead to deleted post. There are lots of website that implement the custom 404 pages, such as our Uncle Google. A 404 pages can be customized in many way. Some of the designed pages are customize to blend well with the website element such as using the same color, adding navigation bar, and more. But the most important part in a 404 pages is to tell the user why they found the page and also, link to your home or back button. As for today inspiration, I would like to share with you a few list of website that manage to deliver the cool and fun feeling in their 404 pages.
